For me, dancing has always been a way for me to access the Sacred. Dancing brings me joy, supports me in working through anger and sadness, and inspires ideas and connections. I find through dancing I easily access a sense of embodied freedom. Further, I dance through the creative process. Creative ideas that arrive to work with me invite a sort of dance between me and the idea. We communicate, we talk back and forth, we dance, sometimes with the idea leading and other times with me leading. My art pieces speak to me by dancing their insights into my mind and I listen, weaving until the art piece feels finished, for now.

The Beloved Moon.

Ever changing in her phases, in her celestial location.

Illuminating the night, surprising us in the daytime.

The moon.

How many loves songs have been written about this beautiful, glowing, white orb in the sky?

The moon, to me, speaks to the feminine mysteries.

To the phases that we go through as women, through our seasons in our menstrual cycles and the cycles within our lives.

The Moon, moving through her 13 cycles within a year, each one holding different energies and feelings associated with it.

Of course, the moon also speaks to our cosmic origins.

Dancing Moon twirled it's name into my awareness in the way many of my creative ideas do. Dancing Moon brings a playfulness, a movement, and an ever changing essence that is the feminine. Dancing Moon is who I am, who you are, who we all are as beings of the earth and beyond the earth. Dancing Moon Mysteries invites you into the reflection of yourself.
